Nigel Darlow
Chief Executive Officer

Nigel Darlow assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer at Atlantic on December 1, 2011. A lawyer by profession, Mr Darlow brings to the role more than 15 years of experience in the industry, working in various leadership roles across the business. Nigel joins Atlantic from BGTT, where he held the post of Vice President and Deputy Asset General Manager responsible for BG’s upstream operations in Trinidad and Tobago, including its interest in Atlantic. Prior to moving to Trinidad, he served as BG’s Asset General Manager, UK Upstream responsible for running BG’s North Sea business, based in Aberdeen, Scotland.

Moonilal Lalchan
Vice-President, Finance & Administration

Moonilal has the responsibility of leading the Finance, Administration, Treasury, Risk, Administration and Property Services Teams. Moonilal has contributed much to the success of Atlantic in designing, developing and managing the financial and procurement, Planning and Administration systems since the company’s inception ten years ago. Moonilal has over 28 years experience in planning, accounting, budgeting, internal and external Auditing, finance and administration, project management, performance management and information technology. a Chartered Accountant, Moonilal has spent the last 20 years in the oil & gas and construction environment, 18 of which being in a senior management position.

Yukmai Marsang
Vice President, Law
Yukmai Marsang (“Mai”) joined Atlantic LNG October 1, 2006. She joined Atlantic LNG with a wealth of experience and expertise in corporate finance, project and asset based financing, banking, securities, business and corporate law and corporate governance. She was an attorney-at-law in private practice with the firm of Pollonais & Blanc (subsequently Pollonais, Blanc, de la Bastide & Jacelon) for over 10 years; providing legal advice on a wide range of banking, finance, project and asset based financing; as well as on approvals and regulations for large project financing transactions in the energy sector, including land acquisition, licenses and real property issues, environmental and tax matters.

She has provided advice to foreign and local clients generally on local law matters and in particular on the Companies Act Chap. 81:01 and the Securities Industry Act, 1995. She has managed transactions with the Trinidad and Tobago Securities and Exchange Commission, Central Bank and other regulators with respect to local issues of equity and debt securities.

Before entering private practice, Mai spent 13 years as in-house Attorney at Citibank (Trinidad and Tobago subsidiaries) with overall responsibility for providing legal advice on a wide range of banking and financial products and transactions and securitization of financial assets. She has held the positions of Country Legal Officer, Corporate Secretary, Compliance Officer and Member of Policy Committee.
She has participated in regional and international law conferences and workshops and is a member of the Board of Directors and Audit and Finance Committee of Bourse Securities Limited.
